I'm an assistant professor of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) in the Centro de Ensino Superior do Seridó (CERES) at the Departamento de Ciências Exatas e Apilicadas (DCEA), where I teach in the Information Systems course. My main research topics are Network Security, Machine Learning, Dynamic Programming, Hybrid Intelligent Systems, Artificial Neural Networks, Evolutionary Computation, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning.

Destate
It is a software developed for the Discrete Events Systems mastering engineering course. You can see the project website for more information.
RestaUm
It was developed in a mastering engineering course of Reinforcement Learning. The software purpose is to be a language independent peg solitaire game simulator, view and server. Where the communication between client and server is done by a simple plain text protocol. Visit the project website for more information.
Umit
